“In an instant, anything can happen,” she told Reuters. “And I firmly believe that you have to be prepared.”

Tegeler is among a growing subculture of Americans who refer to themselves informally as “preppers.” Some are driven by a fear of imminent societal collapse, others are worried about terrorism, and many have a vague concern that an escalating series of natural disasters is leading to some type of environmental cataclysm.

They are following in the footsteps of hippies in the 1960s who set up communes to separate themselves from what they saw as a materialistic society, and the survivalists in the 1990s who were hoping to escape the dictates of what they perceived as an increasingly secular and oppressive government.

Preppers, though are, worried about no government.

Tegeler, 57, has turned her home in rural Virginia into a “survival center,” complete with a large generator, portable heaters, water tanks, and a two-year supply of freeze-dried food that her sister recently gave her as a birthday present. She says that in case of emergency, she could survive indefinitely in her home. And she thinks that emergency could come soon.

“I think this economy is about to fall apart,” she said.

A wide range of vendors market products to preppers, mainly online. They sell everything from water tanks to guns to survival skills.

Conservative talk radio host Glenn Beck seems to preach preppers’ message when he tells listeners: “It’s never too late to prepare for the end of the world as we know it.”

“Unfortunately, given the increasing complexity and fragility of our modern technological society, the chances of a societal collapse are increasing year after year,” said author James Wesley Rawles, whose Survival Blog is considered the guiding light of the prepper movement.

A former Army intelligence officer, Rawles has written fiction and non-fiction books on end-of-civilization topics, including “How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It,” which is also known as the preppers’ Bible.

“We could see a cascade of higher interest rates, margin calls, stock market collapses, bank runs, currency revaluations, mass street protests, and riots,” he told Reuters. “The worst-case end result would be a Third World War, mass inflation, currency collapses, and long term power grid failures.”

A sense of “suffering and being afraid” is usually at the root of this kind of thinking, according to Cathy Gutierrez, an expert on end-times beliefs at Sweet Briar College in Virginia. Such feelings are not unnatural in a time of economic recession and concerns about a growing national debt, she said.

“With our current dependence on things from the electric grid to the Internet, things that people have absolutely no control over, there is a feeling that a collapse scenario can easily emerge, with a belief that the end is coming, and it is all out of the individual’s control,” she told Reuters.

She compared the major technological developments of the past decade to the Industrial Revolution of the 1830s and 1840s, which led to the growth of the Millerites, the 19th-Century equivalent of the preppers. Followers of charismatic preacher Joseph Miller, many sold everything and gathered in 1844 for what they believed would be the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Many of today’s preppers receive inspiration from the Internet, devouring information posted on websites like that run by attorney Michael T. Snider, who writes The Economic Collapse blog out of his home in northern Idaho.

“Modern preppers are much different from the survivalists of the old days,” he said. “You could be living next door to a prepper and never even know it. Many suburbanites are turning spare rooms into food pantries and are going for survival training on the weekends.”

Like other preppers, Snider is worried about the end of a functioning U.S. economy. He points out that tens of millions of Americans are on food stamps and that many U.S. children are living in poverty.

“Most people have a gut feeling that something has gone terribly wrong, but that doesn’t mean that they understand what is happening,” he said. “A lot of Americans sense that a massive economic storm is coming and they want to be prepared for it.”

So, assuming there is no collapse of society — which the preppers call “uncivilization” — what is the future of the preppers?

Gutierrez said that unlike the Millerites — or followers of radio preacher Harold Camping, who predicted the world would end last year — preppers are not setting a date for the coming destruction. The Mayan Calendar predicts doom this December.

“The minute you set a date, you are courting disconfirmation,” she said.

Tegeler, who recalls being hit by tornadoes and floods in her southwestern Virginia home, said that none of her “survival center” products will go to waste.

“I think it’s silly not to be prepared,” she said. “After all, anything can happen.”

I don’t believe the official story of 9/11 because I know the official story of 9/11!

During the past 10 years I have not met a single individual who, after doing research on the subjectpen, switched from questioning the official narrative of the events of 9/11/2001 to believing the official narrative of those events..  It is always the other way around. Why do you think that is? There are good reasons for this, and I will try to explain this phenomenon right now.

The term “conspiracy theorist“, perhaps the most misapplied description in our vernacular, is often used to describe 9/11 truthers. Perhaps that term does apply to a segment of the 9/11 truth movement. But in most cases a more accurate description of 9/11 truthers is probably “expert”, or “scholar”, or “researcher.” You see, much of the doubt cast on the official narrative of the events of 9/11 has not come in the form of speculated accusations, or “theories.” In fact, it has come in the form of questions that have been raised after a careful study of the official and undisputed events and details.

Ten years have passed since the infamous events of September 11th, 2001 took place, and the majority of people still don’t know a damn thing about the actual details of that event. They don’t know what was going on in the country with regard to our military that day. They don’t know the history or the activities of key members of our government, defense establishment or intelligence community, on, or during the weeks, and in some cases the years leading up to that day. They don’t know what took place during or immediately following the events of that day. And they don’t know what actions were taken by those key people following that event.

As is the case with so many issues, people  tend to stand strong and argue a position or voice an opinion about an event like 9/11.  But, when questioned about the many details surrounding that event they have no answers. They are clueless. And they are, in the end, dumbfounded.

They would never do such a thing

A common start and end to any intelligent discussion about the events of 9/11 is prefaced by the assumption that no American would betray his or her country by allowing or conducting an attack on the American people. Well, the people who take this position know nothing about history, let alone human nature. They also don’t know about the public positions, declarations, speeches and published documents written by the people who ran our nation on that day.

False flag operations have taken place for generations, in this nation and nations around the world. Many of these operations have been exposed, but  proof of many of these activities is probably hidden away in secret documents that may one day come to light. You can however, start your exploration on the topic by researching one plan for American self-inflicted terrorism that became public, Operation Northwoods. Do I detect my first “I did not know this, is it true?” May I suggest you also peek into the neoconservative teachings of the principles involved in running our nation at the time of the “new Pearl Harbor” that took place in 2001.

But the 9/11 Commission did not find anything wrong

I can not believe how many people do not know the genesis or mission of the 9/11 Kean Commission. From the initial appointment of one of America’s most nefarious political figures as its original leader, Henry Kissinger, -  to its executive director whose area of expertise and education were in the creation and maintaining of public myths, Philip D. Zelikow,-  people have no idea as to who comprised or what the mandate was for this commission.

To give you some kind of idea as to why the “findings” of this commission can NOT be used to back up any talking points on the topic of 9/11, let me remind you what the official task of this commission was. The Kean Commissions was told to document the official story and make national security recommendations based on that story. The only information that was to be included in the official report had to match the official story. If any one member of the committee objected to any testimony or finding, that piece of information was to be left out of the report For some examples of this you can talk to the thousands of people who became 9/11 truthers as a result of their testimony being omitted from and contradicted by the final report.

Start with the WTC worker credited with being the last man out of the WTC William Rodriguez. See if he can tell you why, after being invited to the White House and meeting with George W. Bush, his testimony about witnessing explosions in the sub basement of the WTC moments prior to the first plane hitting the building was omitted from the Kean report. And for more details you can read David Ray Griffin’s book called The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions And Distortions. It pretty much translated the Kean report into a stack of rather harsh and useless toilet paper. Are the “I did not know this, is it true?” responses piling up yet?

What people don’t understand when discussing issues like 9/11 is that not everyone is qualified to join the discussion, let alone impose an “opinion” on the topic. 9/11 is not really a topic that is open to opinion. The conclusion you draw from the facts are open to opinion, but what many people don’t realize about the 9/11 truth movement is that its opinions are based on facts, and grounded in the reality that its members know more of the facts than the average person. If you have a discussion with a doctor about medicine your opinions and views on the subject don’t exactly merit the same consideration as do those of a group of physicians..

Similarly, someone like me (and many 9/11 truthers), has the equivalent of 3 PhD’s on topics such as 9/11. I am a full time journalist. I research this kind of stuff every single day and I have been doing so since 2003. Not everyone is qualified to debate me on an issue like 9/11. We can discuss it. You can ask a great number of questions and perhaps inform me about aspects of the issue of which I am not aware. But you can’t impose your “opinions” on me, nor can you do that to a majority of 9/11 truthers. And by the way, when it comes to opinions vs. facts, facts win. FOX News watchers don’t seem to be able to grasp this concept.

People have to realize that what separates the unsuspecting mainstream masses from the 9/11 truth movement are factual information and details. Forget the claims and accusations. You don’t need to go that far to understand that there is something fishy going on here.  Just look at the official body of evidence. It’s all there and it will make your head spin. Don’t listen to the accusations, just examine the evidence.You’ll understand  so much if you really take a good look. In time, if you do your research thoroughly you may just compile a list of suspects, as have many of the 9/11 truthers. I have. But we are not there yet. We really have enough official evidence to lead to quite a few criminal indictments, and I am not kidding about this. But for now let’s just talk about the facts and hope that some day we will have the real answers declared by juries in courtrooms. Chances are that many truthers would be proven correct in their accusations -  but again, for now, just look at the facts and understand that there are a lot of questions that need to be answered. And, find out that it’s okay to say, “I did not know this, is it true?”

So, are you qualified to take part in a discussion with a 9/11 truther?

If you don’t know about the “coincidental” military drills taking place on September 11, 2001, or about the interesting little political cabal known as PNAC or the Project for a New American Century, or if you don’t know what WTC7 is, or the 1,500 plus architects and engineers who have serious questions about how and why it dropped like a pancake on 9/11,  or if you don’t know about the fact that up until his supposed murder, theFBI did not list Osama bin Laden as wanted for the events of 9/11 because, in their own words, they had no proof of his involvement, then you are not qualified to enter a discussion about the event. You have a lot of homework to do before you can chime in. So on you go…study…but finish this article first. I’ll bet the ranch that you’ll be saying, over and over, “I did not know this, is it true?”

Why don’t we accept the official story?

Here is a question that you should really think about. Don’t just chime in with your own uninformed opinion because I am going to give you the answer to this question; the real honest answer. Why do you think I, Jesse Richard, founder of TvNewsLIES.org, have drawn the conclusion that the official narrative of the events of 9/11 is a crock? The answer to that is this…I did not always feel that way. As a matter of fact ,within hours of the event I emailed to all my friends a blistering attack on Islamic fundamentalism. And while some things that happened that day, or did not happen that day, (and week I should say,)  seemed odd, I was not immediately suspicious of the “story” being told on TV about the event.

It took me almost two years before I saw enough “official” information to make me realize that there was something, actually many things, that were very wrong. I came across so many disturbing, yet official and undisputed facts that I started asking others about it. Most people did not know what I was talking about. Nobody knew the details.  So your answer is this…I don’t believe the official story because I know the official story! I don’t believe the conclusion, and the little tale of 19 buffoons overtaking our national defense all by themselves. The official position on that by the way, is that they, the FBI, have no proof of the identity of the so-called hijackers or that there were any hijackers at all. They are not listed on the passenger lists, but you would not know that.

BUT…the official story and facts are what made me realize something was very wrong with the public perception of what took place that day, and who was responsible for what took place that day.  The official story, when accepted and believed, morphs by any logic into a total and absolute fabrication!

So if you believe the conclusion to the official story, you had better know that story from start to finish. Don’t approach this they way the Kean Commission approached it, by starting out accepting the explanation as truth. Study the events, study the officially acknowledged body of evidence and study the people who told you the story in the first place…and I bet it won’t be long before you have as many questions as do I about that infamous day and about the people who control our government. And, of course, you’ll be saying, “I did not know this, is it true?”

Okay, then, who really was behind the attacks on 9/11?

9/11 truthers make the mistake of starting their discussions with conclusions…I am not doing that. All I am saying is that there are a lot of questions about what happened that day that are not answered by the official conclusion or explanation. I would like some answers that add up. I did the math myself and I have my own “theories”, but I am a journalist, and I deal in the facts, not the fables.

The official story, as fed to the American public is filled with unsupported and implausible explanations designed to convince a gullible public that they should ask no questions and trust their leaders to take revenge on those who hated us for our freedom.  Volumes can be, and have been written about so many of them.  For the most part, you have not read any of them.

In this article, I’ve posed many questions and have provided links to their answers – so that you will more clearly understand that there is SO much we have not been told about the attacks that took place a decade ago.  But, those facts are the tip of a very well hidden iceberg, because there are so many questions that still remain unanswered.

So, I will end this article with a sampling of the questions that must be answered, or in the very least, investigated by impartial truth seekers..  They must NOT be ignored, or accepted simply because they were offered to a frightened nation by an administration defined by its lies.  They are legitimate questions, based on legitimate suspicions.  They are not, for a single moment, conspiracy theories”

Of course, there are so many more.  We deserve the answers.  We deserve the right to ask these questions in public forums like the corporate media….who will not touch them with the proverbial ten foot pole. We have gate keepers on the Internet who actively ridicule and dismiss anyone who dares to raise these questions.  Will you be one of them?  Or, after really thinking about them, will you hope that one day, when we know what went on before, during and after the attacks on 9/11, – we can all say: “I did not know this, but I’m now  absolutely convinced that it is true.”

Think about it…it’s really time to think about it.

Definition: When governments or organizations (usually connected to the former) stage highly sophisticated attacks on their own or foreign soil with the purpose of placing the blame on a desirable enemy foreign or domestic, one who has otherwise done no wrong. As practically the only anti-war candidate, Ron Paul recently pointed out such a fact to the other puppet candidates during a debate. The other candidates are heartily calling for World War III which could possibly destroy the planet by dressing up an Iranian invasion, whereas Paul points out that the Iraq war (which has massacred over one million Iraqis) was based on an utter and complete fabricated lie.

Obviously, upon discovery of such a lie, the only logical conclusion would be to end the war and persecute the liars. However, the true controllers of this media-complicit false flag operation merely replaced the lie with another more pliable excuse to fool the fluoride-head public, such as the Truman-Johnson-Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama-(Clinton) Doctrine of “spreading freedom and democracy” to countries fighting against communism, I mean, terrorism.

15 February 1898, Cuba, USS Maine (260 dead Americans; 15,000+ war casualties)

Event: The explosion of the USS Maine in Havana Harbor.

Fact: The US sensationalist media and government lied, blamed it on Spain and began a “splendid little war” on a false pretext. Spain was later exonerated and “faulty” explosives or ammunition were officially blamed.

The 1962 Pentagon Operation Northwoods document, rejected by Kennedy, planned to commit similar acts, deliberately blowing up ships, and expending the lives of their own soldiers and civilians in order to provide an excuse for Cuban invasion. The report went on to detail how the terror attacks and false flag operation would be dubbed in the media as a “Remember the Maine” event. This would lead one to allude that the strategists are suggesting the USS Maine incident itself was a false flag operation.

7 May 1917, Irish coast, Lusitania (1,198 dead)

Event: The deliberate sending of a passenger ship by British and American authorities to certain death in German patrolled water, leading to the eventual sinking of the ship by German submarines.

Fact: Despite the Germans having put out newspaper advertisements as warning and it being known that any trespassing ship would be destroyed, instead of saving lives, the Anglo-American governments deliberately assisted in the massacre of hundreds of innocent lives in order to provide a pretext for entrance into the Great War for Civilization, more commonly known as World War I.

Event: Complete burning down of the German state Reichstag building.

Fact: A month after Hitler took power, the government building burned down and served as an excuse to pass an Enabling Act which annulled the constitution and made him dictator. Furthermore, Germany created an enemy out of the communists to use as fear for population control and eventual foreign aggression.

Event: German soldiers, dressed as Polish, attack a German radio station. They kill a dozen Polish prisoners and claim them as the culprits.

Fact: Provided pretext for the invasion of Poland and beyond.

7 December 1941, Hawaii, Pearl Harbor

Event:  Attack of US Naval base by Japanese forces.

Fact: The attacks were brought on by the U.S. itself via careful execution of set goals. These included the armament of Japans enemies, cut-off of energy supplies and port access closure. At the very least, the Federal Government knew of the coming attack having decoded messages and instead of warning the Hawaiian naval base, deliberately kept them as sitting ducks to be massacred. This was used as an official excuse for the U.S. to enter into World War II.

Event: The concoction of a grand mythological metanarrative dialectic on a global scale between the two countries of the U.S. and U.S.S.R. by George Kennan and Paul Nitze, among others.

Motive: Establish national security state, provide excuse for development of military-industrial-complex and allow for lebensraum, the expansion of Anglo-American economic “breathing” or “vital space”.

Event: The air raid attack and initial provocation of North Korea by the South followed by an all out war. The first use of a global police force (UN) with the US supporting the South and the Sino-Soviets supporting the North.

Fact: “A war to ‘defend’ South Korea had many attractions. First it would indirectly implicate the Soviet Union as the main supporter of the North Korean regime of communist Kim il Sung. Second, the Rockefellers and the Dulles brothers and their business associates had poured huge investments into South Korea.”

“June 25, 1950, the world received the shocking report from South Korea that the North Korean Army had launched a major invasion of the south. The reports were conflicting however. American historian John Gunther, then traveling in Japan with General MacArthur, provided this first-hand account of an aide to the US General: ‘The south Koreans have attacked the north!’” (Engdahl)

Event: CIA and British intelligence stage terror attacks to overthrow a peaceful and democratic Iran, even after Prime Minister Mossadegh successful argues the Iranian case in a world court. They steal their petroleum and replace the regime with a dictatorship, setting up the SAVAK secret police with the assistance of the Israeli Mossad, which is then used for torture and domestic repression.

Event: The CIA run and failed invasion of Cuba.

Fact: The CIA designed the invasion in order to put President Kennedy between a rock and a hard place, potentially forced to escalate into a full scale invasion and war. Peacemaker JFK was able to maneuver out of the predicament.

22 November 1963: Dallas, Assassination of JFK

Event: The assassination of peacemaking President John F. Kennedy.

Fact: Lee Harvey Oswald had been dressed up as communist patsy. The subsequent President Lyndon Johnson escalated the Vietnam War, being fought against the “Communist World Revolution” and the “Domino Effect.” JFK had planned to pull out of Vietnam. After having been setup by the CIA on numerous occasions, JFK wanted to scatter the agency to the wind, breaking it into a thousand pieces. Besides having confronted powerful business interests (i.e. US Steel), he issued executive orders allowing the US Treasury to issue currency redeemable in silver, United States Notes, not Federal Reserve Notes.

4 August 1964: Vietnam, Gulf of Tonkin

Event: Non-existent, falsely propagated attack of North Vietnamese ship having attacked USS Maddox.

Fact: Declassified files and McNamara himself reveal that the incident was a clear false flag operation. The Vietnamese had not attacked the US, but the case was made for one. LBJ promptly issued the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution which took the US to war, enriching the military-industrial-complex, opening up the economies of Third World countries for exploitation and furthering the Cold War narrative.

1977: Stockholm, UN Conference, The Great Global Warming Swindle

Event: Maurice Strong establishes the political agenda of Green Global Governance, later to be codified at the 1992 Rio Summit as “climate change” and promoted by high priest Al Gore first as “global warming,” then as “climate change” and then suggested by some as “global climate disruption.”

Former Soviet Premier jumps on the bandwagon with his Green Cross and call for an “Earth Charter,” testifying to Patrick Wood’s (co-founder, Greenpeace) declaration that the communists have taken over the “green” movement. John Holdren in his 1970′s Ecoscience textbook calls for a “planetary regime” with the power of forced sterilization, working with co-author Paul Ehrlich, who advocates mass extermination.

Motives: To establish world government based on the false scare of man-made global warming and the false science propagated by corrupt scientists, from NASA to the CRU in East Anglia University to the UN and its IPCC. To micromanagement every aspect of human life, with a focus on depopulation and the eradication of the majority of mankind.

Fact: The polar bears are actually increasing! The polar bear propagandists are being investigated for corruption! CO2 is not a pollutant but a basic building block of life! CO2 follows temperature rise by hundreds of years! The greenhouse gas theory is fraudulent! The climate scientists in Australia and New Zealand, in legal terms, admitted their lying and guilt by destroying evidence in what became known as Kiwigate and Australiagate! Conclusion

This is rather a brief list and much more could be added. Certainly they are not limited to the US-centered network but apply also to that of the Russians, Israelis and other entities.

Studying the conspiratorial and realistic view of history may tend to make one view nearly every event as a larger “conspiracy.” Given the nature of the degenerates in power, that is unfortunately pretty much the case.

However, facts should objectively be checked and events weighed before mindlessly declaring them part of a systemic conspiracy. By their very nature these events fit the dictionary description of a conspiracy regardless, whether part of a small group of discontents or the systemic dark forces behind deep events, well detailed by Professor Peter Dale Scott. Let us pray these dark forces spare countless lives by foregoing any vile plans they may have for the tenth anniversary of their New York false flag operation.

We grow up learning that some things are just bad: child labor, ticket scalping, price gouging, kidney selling, blackmail, etc. But maybe they’re not.

What I love about economics is that it can show that what seems harmful is actually good for society. It illuminates what common sense overlooks.

This is all covered in the eye-opening book “Defending the Undefendable” by economist Walter Block.

Most people call child labor an unmitigated evil. David Boaz of the Cato Institute and Nick Gillespie of Reason.tv say that’s wrong.

“If we say that the United States should abolish child labor in very poor countries,” Boaz said, “then what will happen to these children? … They’re not suddenly going to go to the country day school. … They may be out selling their bodies on the street. That is not an improvement over working in a t-shirt factory.”

In fact, studies show that in at least one country where child labor was suddenly banned, prostitution increased. Good economics teaches that as poor countries get richer and freer, capital investment raises the productivity of labor and child labor diminishes. There’s no shortcut through government prohibition — unless you like starvation and child prostitution.

What about price-gouging? State laws attempt to prevent people from charging “unconscionable” prices during emergencies.

“If I’m in the neighborhood of Hurricane Katrina,” Boaz said, “what I want is water and ice and generators. … If you are in Kentucky (and) you’ve got 10 generators in your store, are you getting up at 4 a.m. to drive all day to get to Louisiana to sell these generators if you can only sell them for the same price you can sell them for in Kentucky? No, you’re going to go down because … you can sell them for more.”

Also, if prices rise during an emergency, that’s a signal for people to buy only what they most need. That leaves more for everyone else. If the price remains low, an incentive to conserve is lost.

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that’s it.

In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force. The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gangbanger, and a single gay guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender.

There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we’d be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger’s potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat–it has no validity when most of a mugger’s potential marks are armed. People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that’s the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

Then there’s the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser. People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don’t constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level. The gun is the only weapon that’s as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weightlifter. It simply wouldn’t work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn’t both lethal and easily employable.

When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation…and that’s why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

I’m tired of hearing the bleating coming from Washington and its willing accomplice, the Media, about jobs. Seems all we ever hear about is creating jobs. But sadly, we hear about it, from public school to public policy, like it’s government’s responsibility to create jobs in the private sector, as if a job was the product, not just a component of a product. Moronic politicians, and the other morons who seek office, argue about how they will create jobs when THEY get into office. Curiously, they seldom say HOW they’re going to do it.

But government does not create jobs in the private sector. So who does create jobs?

Individuals perceive a need for a product of service. That individual forms a business entity…a sole proprietorship, a partnership, or a corporation…to fill that need. The individual risks his own capital with the expectation of a profit on the sale of the product or service. The individual adds in his own labor to bring the product or service to market. If the individual and his business entity can fill that need alone, fine. If not, the business entity adds additional labor by contracting with other people in some manner to perform the labor component of that product or service.

A job is that labor component of a product or service. On paper it differs little from the material component required to create that product or service. It has a unit cost, just like materials do. And the unit cost of labor for a product or service cannot exceed a certain cost, or it causes the product or service to be uncompetitive in the marketplace.

If a person agrees to perform the labor component of a product or service for a certain period of time and for a certain amount of money, that can be called “wages.” And if that person can adjust his expenditures to live on the wages they earn from that single employer, that person could call his income a “living wage.” However, if that person requires additional income, he can (a) contract with different employer to perform labor at a higher rate, (b) add more units of labor to his schedule to earn more, or (c) increase his labor rate through education or experience.

So jobs are created in the normal supply and demand of the marketplace. And when government enacts regulations and taxation, it distorts the marketplace and affects supply and demand. And if the regulations and taxation are onerous, they can actually drive people out of business, making it unprofitable to continue or try to meet demand.

Businesses exists for many reasons. Making a profit is one of them. Seldom will you find a business that states their reason for existence is to provide jobs for people. If the business does not make a profit there will be no more jobs. Even not-for-profit corporations have to earn enough money to pay for materials and labor so the corporation can continue.

But in 2011 America, the free enterprise system has been turned into a fascistic state-run economic system. If you disagree, do this little exercise: think about everything you do every day…everything your life touches…everything that touches you. Then find me one second of your 24-hour day that is not regulated by government. You cannot even breathe without a Federal regulation on clean air in place.

And in this advanced state of fascism, the free market is not free, but entirely distorted by government. The real estate bubble, the 1980s Savings & Loan bubble, the Social Security Ponzi scheme, the dot-com bubble, the mortgage bubble, the inflation bubble are all distortions caused by government. And there is no realistic expectation nor honest chance that the level of fascism in America will be diminished. Certainly the three branches of the Federal Government will not shrink themselves, and the states have all abdicated their responsibility to control DC.

I contend that the American economy will NEVER recover, since the Federal Government will NEVER diminish itself willingly. All of the wild market distortions created by government will eventually be wrung out of the American economy, like dirty water out of a rag. But that process will be an involuntary process, done by Natural Law when the American economy collapses and the US Dollar is forsaken by the world as reserve currency.

So here are just ten reasons why America will NEVER recover as a 50-state nation:

1. Congress will not cut real spending and live within its means. When Washington spends $2 trillion in a budget year, it first must extract that money from workers and businesses. That means that $2 trillion was sucked out of the private sector and cannot be used in private economic activity. And when government borrows, it makes a claim on the future earnings of citizens, even people yet unborn.
2. Washington will monetize its debt with inflated paper dollars, causing hyperinflation.
3. Inflation destroys purchasing power and makes it impossible to know the future value of money. There is a good reason that the Coinage Act of 1792 specified (in Section 19) that the penalty for fraud or embezzlement by officers or employees of the mint for debasing or making the currency to be of less weight or value, “every such officer or person who shall commit any or either of the said offenses, shall be deemed guilty of felony, and shall suffer death.” (Notice that the Act does not say “prosecuted for a felony,” but “deemed” and executed. No trial here.) To issue a paper currency not redeemable in specie is a fraud. Issuing paper dollars with no underlying value steals the very value of the nation’s money. For this action alone, each Governor, officer and employee of the Federal Reserve Bank, Treasury officer and employee, each officer and employee of the US Mint, and each member of Congress should be deemed guilty and put to death. Otherwise, there is no justice in America.
4. The minimum wage law destroys jobs at the first rung of the job ladder. There are millions of jobs that go unfilled because the minimum wage is higher than the true cost of the work performed. And for those who are willing to trade their time and effort for an agreed amount of money, they are prevented by law from entering into a voluntary contract with an employer.
5. Regulations of every sort make lots of manufacturing too expensive to do in America. This is proven over and over by simply looking at the numbers of companies that have moved their manufacturing or other services offshore. The companies are meeting the demand for goods and services that exists here in America by avoiding certain US government regulations. And who can blame them?
6. Health care changes in Obama’s new law are still not clear, causing employers to lay off workers and resist new hiring.
7. Dozens of tax loopholes reward some companies for moving offshore. These companies are only following the law as written by Congress. And make no mistake…corporations exist primarily to provide a profit for the shareholders…not to provide jobs for workers. If going offshore for operations maintains or increases corporate profits, the officers of the corporation have a moral and a fiduciary duty to do so.
8. No one ever knows what new regulations and laws lurk inside omnibus spending bills, which causes even more uncertainty.
9. Taxation laws change regularly, businesses have a tough time making long-tem plans, causing more uncertainty.
10. The laws of supply and demand have been altered by Washington as it attempts to control an uncontrollable force of nature…economic activity.

Americans would like the economy to return to those thrilling days of the early 2000s, when unemployment was at about 4% and the economy was in overdrive. But that will not happen again in America. That boom cycle was a bubble created by government, and government has run out of tools to use to create the next bubble. The bust cycle we’re living through now will be the deepest ever experienced in America, effectively destroying the USA. Adam Smith’s “invisible hand” will move back into the capitalist system holding a sword, and will cut off the grasping hands of Washington at long last. Sadly, wringing inflation and socialism out of America will be catastrophic, with massive loss of life and a return to 18th-century lifestyles.

The state or states that secede from the Union and embrace capitalism once again will shorten the suffering and become the economic beacon of the planet. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is King. Said another way…if the rest of the world suffers under socialism, it should not be too difficult to offer a workable alternative. You don’t have to be a genius, just genuine.

With the downgrade of the banksters’ confidence in their ability to beat their tax slaves harder, a lot of you are worried about what is happening to your portfolios now, and what will happen to them in the months ahead.

Don’t be.

A few years ago, the housing bubble was a deadly mirage. Afterward, the conservative punditry was aflame with “it’s just shaking out the losers”, “only the liar-loan types are being hurt”, or similar palliatives about how that latest round of economic terrorism was somehow good for you. Never mind that most of the people hurt, and who remain hurt, weren’t flippers or liars, but simply people trying to buy a house for their family to live in, or commercial property for operating their businesses. This one act of economic terrorism ravaged the country, but still we felt that it was somehow just. Read this recent interview for more insight into this mindset.

If you have a nice fat portfolio today, and haven’t had to burn through it all to just survive, count yourself fortunate. Even if that portfolio loses half its value in the months ahead, or tomorrow, you are still far better off than most of the people who were thrown under the housing bubble bus, and the fleet of buses which followed it. Many of those people lost everything they ever owned, and more. Compared to that, half isn’t so bad. But soon, you too will be one of those “losers” being shaken out. And we’ll be fed the next round of why that is a good thing, so that you won’t be inclined to grab your rifle.

Get used to it. One day, we’ll all be losers. Whether it is the collapse of bonds, or the withering of stocks and derivatives traded to no productive purposes, everything you have will vanish from before you. Gold and silver? If you aren’t “sittin’ on the shiny”, you’re kidding yourself if you think that you actually own any. And if you do own it, don’t worry. Your fellow voters will rejoice as they send their thugs to take that, too, along with everything else that you own, so that all those Bad Grandmas and Bad Grandpas, liberal, conservative and libertarian alike, can get their checks as your children starve. After all, gold has been seized before in this land of Constitutionally free serfs. What makes you think it won’t happen again? Have you still some expectation of justice? If so, have you been paying any attention at all?

Speaking of voting, those Tea Party types really came through, didn’t they? What did any of you expect from that pack of retirees who need their checks? It isn’t as though you weren’t warned.

Our time is coming, but this isn’t it. No matter how bad it looks right now, or how bad the market does next week, this won’t be The Collapse. At the end of this current cycle of theft, you may be poorer, or broke, but you will have merely joined the ranks of millions of your countrymen who have already been victimized in the real estate bubble. As I have said for years, eventually we’ll all be poor.

And then, freed of the hold the tyrants have on our minds, those chains which have bound us all will be lying on the floor. For without these mirages, the property, the portfolios and the hedges, those who can do and who know will begin, once again, to pull ahead of those who simply hold, and held until they were ground into dust. And who either learned, or perished with their emaciated claws grasping at an illusion.

Because it all has just been an illusion, nothing more. Did you really think that when you bought bonds you were entitled to tax slaves giving you more than you paid, plus the road or school or aircraft carrier besides? Did you really think that when you bought stock on an exchange you were somehow helping a company succeed? Only the first purchasers of stock do that; the rest are just gambling that the first risk was worthwhile. And speaking of risk, did you actually believe the lie that risk must be rewarded? Or did you understand that risk also means that sometimes you lose? Did you really think that money somehow has time-value, that a pile of anything should get bigger just because? Only knowledge, thought and effort ever has, or ever will, make anything more valuable.

Did you really think that the Constitution was about your rights and freedoms, and not just an illusion crafted to keep you feeding your wealth and your children into a poverty grinder? Or that our wars have been fought for higher ideals than simply to increase the bond and contract holdings of the wealthy and influential? I know I did, but I’m feeling much better now. Did you actually believe that centralized power was somehow magically better for you than a confederation of independent states? That standing armies and police were preferable to militias? That centralized power wouldn’t be used by the powerful to enlist your fellow man in now bleeding you dry? And to prevent you, by force, from protecting what little you have left?

Your portfolio has always been part of these interconnected illusions, a meta-illusion to keep you compliant from fear that if your faith in those illusions faltered, you, too, would be cast into the pit of poverty and despair.

And now, you are brought to the edge of that pit, and must now become comfortable with the sight of it. And energized with the knowledge that its flames will melt your chains, and those of your fellow man.

I’m often asked how long we have. I don’t really know. And unless you’ve got a seat at The Table, you don’t know either. But I do think we have at least another year. And no, this isn’t 2012 hysteria. But, the Powers That Be will use that manufactured hysteria to further increase their grip until it all squishes between their hands like fists-full of gelatin.

In the years ahead, particularly after the impending collapse, what you know and what you can do will be far more valuable than anything you have today. Salvage what you can how you can, but spend this next year learning and understanding. And reaching out to those destitute and crushed among you who merely blazed the trail you now will follow. Spend what you still have wisely, on things which cannot be stolen or taxed or inflated away.

So, in this installment, I leave you with the familiar Kipling, worth another read right now. I know I don’t always live up to it, especially that “loss-breathing” part, particularly since the risk was man-made rather than by chance, but the rest is a worthy goal, don’t you think?

Peer with me now into the pit, my friends, and be not afraid. The fear that is now gripping the monkeys, as they begin to feed upon themselves, means that we are winning. Cast not your lot with theirs.

The proliferation of superweeds — weeds that have mutated to develop resistance to popular herbicides like Monsanto’s Roundup formula — continues to rise. But the individual plants’ overall size and strength is also increasing. According to a series of new studies published in the journalWeed Science, farmers are having more trouble than ever dealing with out-of-control superweeds in their fields, some of which grow up tothree inches a dayin size, and are so strong and thick that they are destroying farm equipment.

Thestudiesreveal that there are currently at least 21 differentweedspecies known to be resistant toRoundup, also known generically as glyphosate. These species include ragweed, pigweed, horseweed, waterhemp, and ryegrass. Since 2007, the total acreage offarmlandknown to be infested with superweeds has also jumped more than 450 percent, from 2.4 million acres to 11 million acres, which means that the problem is only going to get exponentially worse.

“Super-strains ofplantslike pigweed — which grows three inches a day and is tough enough to damage farm machinery — have emerged, which may dramatically reduce the options forfarmersto control them,” writesFast Companyin a recent piece on the issue. “The alternatives are usually more dangerous chemicals or plowing and mulching fields, undermining many of theenvironmentalbenefits biotechcropsare supposed to offer. It’s ‘the single largest threat to productionagriculturethat we have ever seen,’ claims Andrew Wargo III, president of the Arkansas Association of Conservation Districts.”

And yet for yearsMonsantohas denied, at least in part, that Roundup is the cause of superweeds, alleging also that widespread concern about the issue is overblown. Though it now admits that Roundup may actually be culprit in spawning superweeds (you think?), Monsanto is trying to somehow spin the situation in a positive light. Back in2010, for instance, a writer for Monsanto’s public relationsblogactually claimed thatusing too little Roundupmight be a cause of superweeds (http://www.monsantoblog.com/2010/05…).

Herbicideresistanceis not limited to just Roundup

Genetically-modified (GM) crops, which are the primary target ofherbicideapplications like Roundup, are currently planted in roughly 200,000 square miles of American farmland. Their very existence requires repeated applications of herbicides andpesticides, including Roundup. But some of the same superweeds that have developed resistance to Roundup — but that used to at least respond to otherherbicides, or combinations of herbicides — have now developed resistance to these alternative eradication methods as well.

A recent report inThe St. Louis Post-Dispatch(SLPD) explains that farmers are quickly running out of options for controlling the superweed problem, as many superweeds are now resistant to three or four other herbicides, and counting, besides Roundup. Superweeds with massive stems up to four inches thick are devastating fields, and farmers are becoming desperate for solutions (http://www.stltoday.com/business/lo…).

“It’s rather ironic that we were sold glyphosate as an alternative to these older pesticides, and now farmers are using them again,” said Brett Lorenzen, a legal analyst with the Environmental Working Group (EWG), to SLPD concerning farmers trying anything and everything to get rid of superweeds. “But that’s part of the pattern of thepesticideindustry.”

The same report explains that, in order to get rid of the monstrous superweeds, farmers are having to hire laborers to hack down the behemoth plants by hand, which together with trying all sorts of other pesticides and herbicides, is costing farmers more time and money than if they had never plantedGM cropsin the first place.

Superweeds are spreading their traits to plants everywhere

Shuffling around pesticides and herbicides, and manually chopping downweeds, however, will not ultimately solve the superweed problem. No matter how many chemical applications conventional and GM crop farmers apply, superweeds just continue to get stronger and more pervasive. And they are becoming so strong that not only are they squelching all non-resistant weeds from existence, but they are also spreading resistant genes to other plants.

“Pollen can transfer the resistant trait; that’s the problem,” said Kevin Bradley, a weed scientists from the University of Missouri, to SLPD. “There’s not much we can do aboutpollenflying through the air, and that’s why we see such rapid spread of resistance.”

TheUSDA, of course, continues to allow the introduction of newGMOslike alfalfa, sugar beets, and now even Kentucky bluegrass, because it does not view GMOs any differently than normal crops (http://motherjones.com/environment/…). The agency has refused to hold GMOs to a higher standard as it should, and instead has reneged any responsibility for properly regulating “frankencrops” — and thus the world is being overrun by superweeds.

The only way it is possible to get rid of superweeds, if such a task is even still possible, is to end the cultivation of GM crops for good. In order to accomplish this, every GM field would have to be uprooted, tilled, and burned, and the whole of mainstream agriculture would have to embrace a system of chemical-free polyculture that naturally encourages proper soil health and microbial diversity, two factors that eliminate the need for using the herbicides and pesticides that have played a major factor in the superweed problem (http://www.naturalnews.com/031597_D…).

I was holding a hundred dollar bill the other day and I really started to think about just how much of certain survival items that this thin piece of cloth could still buy (that is until the dollar falls into a cesspit). Anyone with an extra $100 bill could spend it on something that they will have nothing to show for it, or, they could spend it on something that someone could really use and help them better survive someday or even now.

Late on the night of August 23, 2001, at about 3 a.m. security cameras in the parking garage of the World Trade Center captured the arrival of two or three truck vans.

Visual examination determined the vans were separate and unique from trucks used by janitorial services, including different colors and devoid of markings.

More curious, all the janitorial trucks had pulled out of the Towers by about 2:30 a.m—about half an hour before the second set of vans arrived.

According to my high level State Department source with a top security clearance, who disclosed the unusual nightly activity, no vans matching that description had entered the World Trade Center at such an hour in any of the weeks or months prior to that date. It was a unique event.

Security cameras caught the vans leaving the Towers at approximately 5 a.m—before the first wave of AAA personality types on Wall Street, driving Mercedes and BMWs, arrived to track the markets.

For the next 10 to 12 nights, the same mysterious truck vans arrived at the World Trade Center at the same mysterious hour— after the janitorial crews had left the building and before the most fanatic robber barons on Wall Street showed up for work.

The vans appeared at the World Trade Center from approximately August 23, 2001 until September 3 or 4, 2001. After that last night, they never appeared at the Towers again.

The vans were never heard of again, either. The 9/11 Commission was never informed of their surprising presence in the Towers three weeks before the 9/11 attack. Most of the 9/11 Truth Community has no knowledge of this extraordinary nightly activity, either.

For all the public’s ignorance, video from the security cameras could be the most significant missing part of the 9/11 puzzle. This State Department source was convinced the mysterious trucks were used to transport explosives into the building, and that an unidentified orphan team wired the World Trade Center for a controlled demolition in those late night hours.

He has stayed quiet to protect his job, his retirement pension and his reputation—knowing that others who spoke up have gotten fired or thrown in prison (myself included).

Controlled Demolition

Other evidence supports a controlled demolition of the Towers, as a supplement to the hijackings. Firefighters and maintenance crews reported hearing explosions popping through the Towers on 9/11. And previous reports indicate that dust from the World Trade Center tested positive for “thermate explosives–” a derivative of a thermite bomb.

A thermite reaction involves a mixture of iron oxide and aluminum, while thermate adds an element of sulfur. When the iron oxide-aluminum mixture is ignited, a super vigorous reaction occurs, creating molten metal—and dust, in the case of thermate. The reaction is extremely exothermic, meaning that a great deal of heat is given off, making for an incredibly powerful reducing agent.

Even so, as the 10 year anniversary of the 9/11 attack approaches, the majority of Americans continue to be confused as to how a controlled demolition scenario fits with the airplane hijackings and aerial strike on the World Trade Center—which the whole world witnessed on play back over and over in the media, until the image was seared like a brand on our collective consciousness.

Until now, there has been a false dichotomy that only one or the other style of attack could have occurred, but never both together. Some parts of the 9/11 Community itself vigorously dispute that both could have occurred as synchronized events. And most of the corporate media refuses to acknowledge the controlled demolition theory whatsoever.

When the public understands 9/11 as a series of Real Time events throughout the month of August, 2001, the unfolding sequence of this tragedy makes a lot more sense.

The difficulty is throwing out everything the public has been taught about 9/11—created for the convenience of politicians and corporate media, who simplified the story for public consumption.

First and foremost, contrary to all media reports and official claims, U.S. and foreign intelligence absolutely expected the 9/11 attack to occur— citing airplane hijackings and a strike on the World Trade Center. Even the time frame was identified precisely—known to be late August through mid-September.

I relate here my own experience as evidence. It has been corroborated in courtroom testimony by Parke Godfrey, a computer science professor at York University in Toronto. He delivered his statement under oath in the Federal Courthouse of the Southern District of New York—1000 yards from where the World Trade Center once graced the skyline.

On August 2, the date of Robert Mueller’s Senate confirmation hearings to become Director of the FBI, my CIA handler, Dr. Richard Fuisz warned me not to travel to New York because the attack on the World Trade Center involving airplane hijackings was “considered imminent,” with the potential for “mass human casualties” and a “possible miniature thermo-nuclear device” (thermite).

Our team aggressively tried to block the conspiracy. But not everyone was on board.

Threats to Iraq

As far back as April and May of 2001, a decision had been made at the top levels of the government that War with Iraq would be in play in the aftermath of a 9/11 scenario.

As the primary Asset covering the Iraqi Embassy in New York, I myself was ordered to threaten Iraqi diplomats with War, if it was determined that Iraq possessed actionable intelligence about the airplane hijacking conspiracy and failed to hand it over through my back channel.

After initially balking at the message, I was informed the threat originated at the highest level of government, above the CIA Director and Secretary of State. That could only be President George Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

Iraqi diplomats threw up their hands: They had nothing to give us, they said. But go ahead, they told me. “Send your FBI. They are welcome in Baghdad. We want peace with America. And maybe they will find something.” For all the brouhaha after 9/11, the fact remains that George Bush took no action on Iraq’s invite.

There was chatter about the 9/11 conspiracy throughout the Intelligence Community all summer long. The greatest part of the Intelligence Community abhorred the scenario. My own Intelligence team, triangulating the CIA and Defense Intelligence Agency pushed and pushed for actionable intelligence from Baghdad.

However, though we could not understand what the hell was going on, our efforts kept running into a wall of interference from the Justice Department, with only superficial outward support.

For the integrity of history, Americans and the world community have a fundamental right to understand what actions the Intelligence Community did undertake prior to the attack—because it exposes the high level opposition running interference.

August Timeline

* On Thursday, August 2, 2001— my CIA handler, Dr. Richard Fuisz and I discussed over the telephone our belief that the attack would be imminent.

* On Saturday, August 4– I visited the Iraqi Embassy in New York for the final time before 9/11, pushing for any fragment of actionable intelligence from Baghdad that could pinpoint the conspiracy.

On the weekend of August 4-5—spooky NSA types “visited” the office where I had a part time consulting job. Of course the office was closed for the weekend, and I won’t speculate how they got inside. However, while snooping, they took a “proof of life,” for want of a better expression.

It is a physical copy of the Wall Street Journal dated July 30, 2001—the same week as my conversation with Dr. Fuisz— addressed to the company, with the street address and name of the man I had been working for.

The copy of the July 30, 2001 Wall Street Journal surfaced on my desk at home—Nine Years after the attack— while I was traveling in Japan on a speaking tour for the advance release of my book, “Extreme Prejudice: The Terrifying Story of the Patriot Act and the Cover Ups of 9/11 and Iraq,” which features a detailed analysis of our team’s 9/11 warnings, the 9/11 investigation and a comprehensive peace framework developed with Iraqi diplomats.

Given the upheaval in my life throughout the intervening decade—including a year’s stint in prison on a Texas military base, while the government covered up my team’s 9/11 warnings and the true facts of Iraqi Pre-War Intelligence— there’s no way a copy of the Wall Street Journal could have survived as desk clutter.

Other Intelligence officers will recognize the significance at once. That hard copy of the Wall Street Journal proves beyond any question that other spooks were tracking our team’s conversations about the conspiracy in “real time” fully 6 weeks before 9/11 occurred.

A newspaper would have been thrown out of an office weeks before the attack. Somebody had to grab it up almost immediately after my conversation with Dr. Fuisz.

See? Other teams tried to put together the attack scenario, too.

All of it points to the frenetic activity in advance of 9/11. There was a lot of action behind the scenes. And Intelligence folk are anything but passive individuals. Quite the opposite, there’s a lot of creative risk-taking and proactive problem solving. None of these people sit on their hands.

Americans still don’t know that:

* On Monday, August 6, I met with Dr. Fuisz and we hammered out a plan of action for alerting the White House that this hijacking conspiracy should move to “emergency status.”

* That same Monday, August 6, the CIA handed President Bush a memo warning about an expected terrorist conspiracy involving Al Qaeda. Though I could be mistaken, I have always believed Dr. Fuisz contributed to that report. If not, it proves again that a broad spectrum of U.S. intelligence was moving to high alert status, far enough in advance to block the attack.

* Following instructions from Dr. Fuisz, on Tuesday, August 7 or Wednesday, August 8, I placed an emergency call to the private staff of Attorney General John Ashcroft. Identifying myself as the Chief U.S. Intelligence Asset covering Iraq and Libya at the United Nations, I delivered our warning about a conspiracy involving airplane hijackings and a targeted strike on the World Trade Center.

I requested an emergency broadcast alert through all Federal Agencies seeking any fragment of intelligence involving airplane hijackings and a strike on the World Trade Center. I warned the attack was “imminent” with expectations of “mass casualties,” and that it should be regarded as Emergency Status.

* Attorney General John Ashcroft’s private staff immediately gave me a telephone number at the Office of Counter-Terrorism, and told me to repeat what I had just told them to the person at that number. Immediately I complied.

* Later that week on August 9 or 10, I drove over to the Arlington, Virginia home of my second cousin, Andrew Card— Chief of Staff to President George Bush— ready to deliver the same message. I waited two hours in my car outside of his home.

Occasionally neighbors peeked outside their curtains, while I chain smoked cigarettes in the hot car. (Yes, I have quit smoking.) Driving away, I remember thinking that I might be making the greatest mistake of my life.

My Own Private Hell during the Cover Up

I am extremely proud of our team efforts before 9/11 and throughout the 9/11 investigation. For all that, Americans are learning about this very late because I got into great big, bad trouble with the Feds when I tried to talk.

I suffered five (5) years of indictment on the Patriot Act and one year of prison on a military base without a trial, when Republicans decided to reinvent the facts about 9/11 and Iraqi Pre-War Intelligence, denying Iraq’s contributions to the 9/11 investigation and the existence of a comprehensive peace framework.

Our relationship soured as I became convinced Republicans at the top echelons allowed 9/11 to happen, killing thousands of innocent Americans and international citizens, so they could build a phony case for War against Iraq and Afghanistan.

I was outraged that the American government has done this to itself—as a pretext for military aggression and massive deficit spending in support of the military industrial complex, which is bankrupting the Middle Class. And I was quite vocal in expressing my belief that Americans have a right to full disclosure about our activities before 9/11 and the Iraqi War. And the devil take politicians!

Without question I posed a grave threat to political grandstanding on 9/11 and the myth of Washington’s “outstanding leadership performance on terrorism.” Many times I have thought of myself as Dorothy in the Land of Oz pulling back the curtain on the Wizard, and exposing his deceit before the hapless, trusting Munchkins.

In truth, the spooks did a great job before 9/11. Everything moved with lightning speed ahead of the threat. We could have stopped 9/11 easily if the Justice Department had fulfilled requests for inter-agency cooperation. There was plenty of time to alert NORAD or post an anti-air craft battery on top of the World Trade Center buildings.

That’s why the GOP leadership had to take me out—because I refused to back off that point. If I had been free, the American people and the world community would have learned the truth much sooner.

Controlled Demolition

Unhappily for all of us, because of private conversations with sources like my State Department colleague, I have reached additional conclusions that our team was not the only one at work before 9/11.

Though none of us expected this to happen, I have come to believe that our efforts collided with a force of equal resistance, in the form of an orphan team also watching the events unfolding like us.

As a long-time participant in multiple terrorism investigations, I have personal knowledge that most terrorist attacks are noisy, smoky and chaotic— without achieving maximum destruction of the target. The 1993 World Trade Center attack by Ramzi Youseff and Sheikh Abdul Rahmon of Egypt killed 5 people.

The bombing of the U.S.S. Cole in the Port of Aden, Yemen killed 12 people. Without extra push, this 9/11 attack would never have killed so many people either—100 people at the very most.

Add to that a recipe of incompetent pilots— who functioned as Intelligence Assets themselves in a few cases— Again from personal experience, I know that Assets are heavily scrutinized at all times by handlers from multiple agencies. I am convinced that an inner circle anticipated the event, and saw that their boys flying those planes could not achieve maximum damage sufficient to achieve their War agenda in Iraq.

I cannot blame Americans for feeling overwhelmed, even heart-broken by these revelations. But bottom line jet fuel fires could not have collapsed both of those Towers, or Building 7, pretty much evaporating the entire steel frame of the buildings into dust and molten steel.

Add to that the CIA’s urgent reports that a miniature thermo-nuclear device would be used in the attack—and that’s why I had to stay out of New York City.

The strange nightly activity at the World Trade Center three weeks before the attack clinched it for me. I am 100 percent convinced those Towers were wired for explosives.

Yes, hijacked airplanes struck the towers. But bringing down the Towers to secure War with Iraq required some extra umph.

I cannot speculate who wired the towers with explosives. I could make a guess, but my training as an Asset requires me to stay focused on what I have observed first-hand, and to recognize my own limitations.

So why should the world care? At this point, it is most critical for Americans to stop politicians in Washington from using 9/11 for grandstanding and personal ambitions. The War on Terrorism has perpetrated a fraud on all of us.

Those who support the War on Terror are destroying our fiscal economy and our Middle Class.

That’s why Americans must learn the truth about 9/11.

It’s reached a crisis point where we must get off this merry-go-round of defense spending. We must end the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Otherwise this fraud of 9/11 is going to ruin our great country for all time.

I only hope it isn’t too late already.

If these resources had always been in the private sector, that would be fine … that would be free market capitalism.

Make no mistake, the European solvency crises is a Bank Solvency Crises; wholly of their own making.   Through various bailout schemes large portions of the debts were socialized to sovereign governments and their people.

As it is over there, so it is here at home.  And so, by assuming huge portions of the risk from banks trading in toxic derivatives, and by spending trillions that they don’t have, central banks have put their countries or member countries at risk of default.

Like illegal mortgage loans made in the US; loans were made to Greece with the knowledge they could not pay them back.  The Bankster solution (preplanned or not) as always, is to put the losses on the citizens, cut public programs and force The Sovereign to sell off assets to Bankster cronies thus, covering the debts.

As the solvency situation of Europe’s banks worsens the Eurozone is being transformed into the Enslavement Zone!  All this, so the banksters don’t have to realize losses.  Folks, this is the tailor. When the International Monetary Fund or World Bank offer to lend money to a struggling third-world country (or “emerging market”), they demand “austerity measures”.

As Wikipedia describes it:

In economics, austerity is when a national government reduces its spending in order to pay back creditors. Austerity is usually required when a government’s fiscal deficit spending is felt to be unsustainable.

Development projects, welfare programs and other social spending are common areas of spending for cuts. In many countries, austerity measures have been associated with short-term standard of living declines until economic conditions improved once fiscal balance was achieved (such as in the United Kingdom under Margaret Thatcher, Canada under Jean Chrétien, and Spain under González).

Private banks, or institutions like the International Monetary Fund (IMF), may require that a country pursues an ‘austerity policy’ if it wants to re-finance loans that are about to come due. What Does This Have to Do With the First World?

Since the IMF and World Bank lend to third world countries, you may reasonably assume that this has nothing to do with “first world” countries like the US and UK.

But England’s economy is in dire straights, and rumors have abound that the UK might have to rely on a loan from the IMF.

And as former U.S. Comptroller General David Walker said :

People seem to think the [American] government has money. The government doesn’t have any money.

Indeed, the IMF has already performed a complete audit of the whole US financial system, something which they have only previously done to broke third world nations.

Al Martin – former contributor to the Presidential Council of Economic Advisers and retired naval intelligence officer – observed in an April 2005 newsletter that the ratio of total U.S. debt to gross domestic product (GDP) rose from 78 percent in 2000 to 308 percent in April 2005. The International Monetary Fund considers a nation-state with a total debt-to-GDP ratio of 200 percent or more to be a “de-constructed Third World nation-state.”

Martin explained:

What “de-constructed” actually means is that a political regime in that country, or series of political regimes, have, through a long period of fraud, abuse, graft, corruption and mismanagement, effectively collapsed the economy of that country.

AMERICA: A De-constructed Third World Nation-State – Pitchman

Those who are blind to the goings on around the world and here in our own country – or those who are too afraid to truly confront an awareness of those goings on – will always ask what all of this prepping is for. “Are you paranoid?” They’ll ask. It’s amazing how blind, deaf, and dumb people are willing to be just to save themselves from the mental shock that comes with realizing that the world as we know it is not what we’ve always thought it was.

Growing up, most of us learned that if we work hard, apply ourselves, and treat others as we’d like to be treated, we’ll do well. Then we enter adulthood and realize that it always seems that those who are scheming, lying, cheating, and spend all their efforts making the “right friends” are the ones who do well. The rest of us just get by and often fall victim to those schemers.

For most Americans, this was driven home deeply in 2008 when the nation’s economy suddenly began to collapse. Jobs, homes, and lives were destroyed almost overnight. Then our government stepped forward to save the day and.. bailed out Wall Street and the fat cat bankers who’d made the shady investments that caused most of the financial problems to begin with. Ordinary Americans were left to fend for themselves, many losing everything.

Now, economic recoveries are announced and.. fall flat. Sure, Wall Street traders and those banks who’ve been busy foreclosing on Mom and Pop’s homes are doing great. Meanwhile, the poor and middle class in this country are suffering hard. Many are mortgaging what’s left of their retirement and savings just to scrape by.

That’s not the America we were told about as kids. That’s not what this country is supposed to be and it’s not what our fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, and whole family trees fought for since 1776 when our nation began. But that’s what we’ve got now.

Can we change it? Maybe. Will it require work and effort, even bloodshed? Possibly. What’s the best way to begin working towards that goal? That I can answer definitively.

The answer is not in electing another politician or backing some political party to “win back” the White House, Congress, or whatever else we think is running the show. That’s been tried before and no matter who we get, Republican, Democrat, or whatever, we get the same thing: more of the same. Many Americans are waking up to the realization that our system is crippled and beyond repair. Asking a crippled system to heal itself is like asking a car with a flat tire and rusty bodywork to repair itself just because we switched gasoline brands. It’s beyond lunacy to think that will work.

Instead, we have to completely change how we’re thinking. I’m not calling for revolution or asking you to form death squads and go vigilante. What I’m telling you is that if we haven’t prepared ourselves for the obvious end game that’s coming: the collapse of government, society, the economy, or whatever happens first, we aren’t going to survive long enough to do anything more than watch it fall apart.

But if we’re ready. If we’re prepared for whichever type of collapse happens first and we can survive and get through it.. then we can talk about the next step – about fixing, upgrading, rebuilding. Only then.

Truth2America is all about that first step: being able to ride it out. Being ready to get through it. Being prepared.
